The Director's Guide is published by the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, this guide is intended to provide CAC directors with information to support and expand the existing mental health services component within CACs; include evidence-based, trauma-informed assessments and interventions in services offered to clients; strengthen, expand, and enhance existing community mental health resources; expand the CAC’s role as a broker for evidence-based assessment and treatment for children and their families; and clarify mental health roles and boundary issues in the delivery of services within the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
The NCAC's Virtual Training Center (VTC) offers hundreds of courses and webinars, many of them centered around Mental Health. You must have a login to access the VTC, but it is free to sign up.
