Lauren Tanner is the Chapter Specialist for SRCAC. In her role at SRCAC, she is involved in programming efforts to develop and refine learning experiences, as well as providing support to many initiatives focused on State Chapters. Lauren joins Southern Regional from a career in education, where she received high praise and quick recognition for her work. As a former Teach For America corps member, she developed innovative programming for children in a high-need community. Her efforts were recognized, and she was quickly promoted to Grade Level Mentor, where she continued to grow and evolve efforts to improve the school system by working in conjunction with other professionals. She has both domestic and international experience, and brings her love of learning, innovation in education, and passion for curriculum design to the team.
